Electing & Supporting Democrats
The Chesterfield County Democratic Committee (CCDC) is an official organization of the Democratic Party of Virginia, with a number of key legal responsibilities in carrying out the nomination and election laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The CCDC has the responsibility of regulating and directing the nominations of all candidates of the Democratic Party in Chesterfield County and for advancing the Democratic Party’s interests in all general and special elections in the County. We do everything possible to aid in the victory of all the Democratic nominees in all elections, and encourage the registration and the participation of all voters in elections without discrimination.
The Committee is comprised of representatives from each precinct in the county. Those who serve on the CCDC as committee officers, precinct captains, as well as our many party and campaign workers, are all volunteers.
The CCDC values inclusion. Our membership includes people from all aspects of life. We represent all voters regardless of religion, race or ethnicity.
The CCDC is growing in numbers and strength. The energy, enthusiasm, and commitment of our members are making a vital difference in voter canvassing and registration, phone banking, and distribution of campaign materials at local events.
We welcome guests and new members to our meetings, which are held the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at varying locations generally posted on the events page of the website. Please email info@chesterfielddems if you cannot find the specific location or have any questions.
